You Crack Me Up!

I know, I know- another card using the same set. I just can't seem to help myself. I love this set! It is so fun to play with and the little chick is absolutely adorable. I decided that I wanted to make a tent topper card. I have only made a few of these but they have become very popular over at SCS. If you have never been to that site you need to! They have some of the most creative and beautiful card samples in the member gallery there. If you are in the need of some inspiration I guarantee you can find it there!

The chick is stamped in basic black and colored in using SU markers. It was punched out using a marvy punch and then attached to piece of barely banana which had also been punched using a marvy punch. I used my paper piercer to poke holes in each of the scallops and then outlined them with my white gel pen. The egg shell was stamped onto a scrap piece of Berry Bliss DSP and cut out. It was attached to the image using 2-way glue.

The background of the card is a piece of Berry Bliss DSP. The smaller piece of Barely Banana is stamped with barely banana ink using the Aida Cloth BG stamp. Using the paper piercer tool I pierced the upper and lower edge and created a faux stitch using my white gel pen. I then stamped the sentiment in the middle of the panel and added it to the card base. Pink dew drops were added to the left side as well as another cut out image of the egg shell which had been stamped onto another scrap piece of Berry Bliss DSP. It is popped up on dimensionals.

Happy Stamping~
